Moogle Treasure Trove: Weekly & Minimog: Please assign by MSQ progress!

It seems that the weekly and minimog challenges for Moogle Treasure Trove the First Hunt for Genesis are randomly assigned, but they're ignoring MSQ progress! Can this be changed?

I think the event is an interesting way to get people to try content that they haven't done before, but I'm in ARR patches and got some kind of Level 60 Raid that requires "The Last Pillar to Fall."

Obviously, the answer for me this week is just miss out on those Mogtomes, because I am *not* going to speedrun the rest of the patches and what I assume is *all* of Heavensward to get to it. I'm seeing other friends in similar situations, though there are some who have it the other way around.

I'm not sure if the minimog challenge "Lv 71 FATE: Complete 5 FATEs in Lakeland or Kholusia" is the same for everyone, but I obviously cannot access those regions! (Shadowbringers, I think?) I appreciate that the Triple Triad challenger was in an ARR zone for this one! Fufulupa's such an earnest little guy, I'm glad people've had reason to get reacquainted with him. ^_^

I have seen this as well. One of the alts I have is inside of ARR patches and was assigned a ShB Raid, E6 to be exact. As this is an alt that I am not needing anything on, this is not a huge deal but newer players will have no chance to reach this unless they burn all of ARR through base ShB as far as MSQ requirements are concerned.

Additionally, I have heard that Free Trial Accounts can get assigned PvP, which is something they are unable to complete.

Oh no! I've seen a Free Trial player say that they got Shadowbringers assignments for their weekly, too.

I'm definitely enjoying the wider variety of activities, including GATEs! I think this setup will help keep the event fun AND prevent feeling burnt out afterwards, with the variety in the infinite recycle options. It's just weird that the special weekly blocks are randomly inaccessible due to MSQ for some players.

Minimog is same for everyone, but considering its multiple options I imagine, every week will have option available at lvl 30 (which seems to be level most 'everyone-acessible' content is generally graded at). The idea being that everyone will always have at least one option they can access, but it still encourages a variety of content for people who have access to such variety. That's why there was a Triple Triad for Western Thanalan of all places as an option.

Agreed, my friend is on Free trial and was given a Shadowbringers Raid for their weekly. That is ridiculous.

That's why I noted appreciation for the TT duel being in an ARR sanctuary--I do not want to assume that next week's minimog will be like that! Since I created the thread, it does seem like everyone has the same minimog challenge this week.

However, the weekly challenge that varies from player to player doesn't have a second option.

All but one character could NOT do the weekly because it was for an instance they couldn't unlock yet. This should not be a thing!
