The Mogpendium of my alt who is currently in 2.4:

60 Tomestones I could just grab on my endgame main character who doesn't have a big need for them anymore because I already collected a lot of rewards the usual non-mogtome way.
Moogle Treasure Trove always had this purpose of making people unlock side content they haven't done before, I support this general idea and respect it. However, I highly doubt anyone would expect a 2.4 character to rush to the Shadowbringers patches and unlock Eden - maybe even play until 5.3 if it's the last Eden tier. These ??? are three weeks in which a character like my alt could have been motivated to unlock optional ARR dungeons like Sastasha (hard). How likely is someone to do this if they can just run Cutter's Cry or a MSQ dungeon they already have? This kind of randomization ignoring MSQ progress works against the very thing this event feature is trying to accomplish. Meanwhile the characters who need tomes and tome rewards the most are the ones having to put in much more work when they can't do these challenges. There is really no good reason to keep this way of assigning duties to these challenges the way it is now. Please, dear devs, if you want us to unlock duties we might not have touched yet, make sure it's a duty that's within reach.
