Hopefully, they will listen to feedback and adjust for "part 2". I love the way they are doing this, though. It feels less grindy.

I 100% agree that it should be MSQ progress based. We have a couple of sprouts in our FC that can't get any tomes and I feel bad.

No need to change anything. It isn't like you get different tomes from the weekly challenges. It is just a bonus. There are plenty of tomes to get from just running dungeons which makes more sense as a new player anyway. Free tomes while getting experience.

This is my third week in a row where I cannot do the weekly objective, I *was* fortunate enough to be able to do the mini, and I've got all of 17 "Standard" items I can choose from. It's pretty frustrating to be honest. I would *love* to be able to access all of the objectives, but as is, I cannot. And I will not rush the story, so I'm just stuck doing what this new Mogpendium was designed to prevent, running the same content over and over.

Honestly it's a bit baffling that SE hadn't thought of this issue beforehand. I know people have mentioned that you get the same tomes and while true, you get much much less than if you do the weekly challenges which reduces how much someone might want to grind. It's a decent chunk that newer players / alts are prohibited from getting because they literally can't do the content yet. I will say though that this event is a step in the right direction, I've actually participated in it more than I have previous moogle events despite already owning the rewards. I hope that with the next part they adjust it so that the required duties are set to MSQ progress in order to prevent a new player in ARR from getting something several expansions ahead of them.
