I recently noticed how hard food is to come by in this game. Sure you buy it off the market board, but those are in the cities, and you're not going to go out of your way (via a menu) to a housing estate market board to buy food either. Amazingly, you cannot buy any food anywhere on the isle of Vylbrand (In other words La Noscea) other than from the one vendor in Limsa Lominsa. Buscarron's Druther's in South Shroud is the only place outside of Gridania for that region. Apart from the one in Ul'Dah, Central, Western and Eastern Thanalan have food vendors however. None of the 6 Heavensward areas have food vendors in them and I don't remember seeing food vendors in any further expansion's 6-areas' either.

I would like to see food vendors added in most places where there's an indoor tavern or open-air food bar type place. Camp Bronze Lake's and Costa Del Sol's resorts, Wineport's tavern, Aleport's tavern (next to the Levemete), Summerford Farm's upper or lower room, Red Rooster Stead's taverna. Maybe even at the empty house at the bottom of Lower La Noscea (not sure if it belongs to someone via lore in some quest)- instead of a food vendor, maybe as a cook who's willing to make something for a passerby, shorter menu of about 6-8 things. Others could be the tavern type place behind the merchant in Forgotten Springs, Gabineaux's Bower in Central Shroud (not sure of the lore- it's a logging lodgement cabin), Camp Dragonhead and Observatorium both have public taverns (Whitebrim does not), and the tavern at Fallgourd Float aswell (not the Bobbing Cork).

No need to add one to every zone of course- Camp Overlook for example is a military outpost and wouldn't make sense to have a public food offering there and The Hermit's Hovel is used for certain quest things and would clash with the vibe of those quests I think.
