    An idea to change the crap HQ system in crafting.

    Instead of a chance to make a HQ which often doesn't matter what the % is. How about threshold levels for each item to get HQ'd.

    For raw materials crafted into processed, maybe a threshold of 350 would work? While flawless pre relic parts at 650 or 700? All you have to do is reach the level of quality the item requires to make an HQ. Not sure what is planned for 2.0 but the chance system is kinda stupid with so many 90%'s not turning and seeing so many single percents.

    If this is introduced there will probably be alot of tweaking at first.

    You do understand that the "chances" can work in your favor too right?
    I absolutely enjoy HQing ingots from all NQ materials at ~20% chances to make 300 to 400% profit simply because I am effectively turning other people's trash into gold.

    You're going to screwed sometimes no matter what system they use.

    Personally, I love the current system. My only qualm I have is that the 'Flawless' items count as NQ when calculating initial quality, but I understand their reasoning behind that.

    thats all well and good. too bad that HQ Astrolabe is worthless since its gonna get blown up in a relic attempt anyway

    Actually a small reduction in the effect of dLVL in the break rate will be nice or more craftsmanship/magic craftsmanship equips, considering we can't really boost magic craftsmanship as high as physical craftsmanship.

    I just wish they hadn't tied it to leveling. I find fail/ botch is used to reset quality, not to make less HQ but to force exper down and keep you from leveling too fast.
