I’d like to pass on a quick bit of info for our players who are worried about accidentally materia converting precious gear such as primal weapons or equipment melded with multiple materia.

While there is already a confirmation window when converting, we feel there is still some room to add measures to prevent accidental conversion (due to misclicks, getting caught up in the heat of the moment when you’re on a conversion roll, etc., etc.) and heading towards version 2.0 we will be looking into countermeasure options.

I never really had a problem with accidental materia.

Dude, you have to put a check in a box next to "This item has materia melded to it. Are you sure you want to do this?" That is more than enough. If you break your melded stuff, it's your own damn fault. It would be your own fault anyway.
