    Missing out on quests cutscenes

When queuing on duty roulette with a job and going through a quest with another job while waiting, if the duty pops, you can either skip the cutscene or withdraw from the duty. True, sometimes the cutscene ends before he duty timer expires.

It would be nice if we would be able to join the duty roulette with the job we queued, without having to manually change the job.

I feel I am missing out if I skip the cutscenes.

    Any opinions / suggestions?

This would require the DF to remember (at worst) what gear you were wearing or (at less bad) which gearset you had equipped. The former is a significant increase in the amount of data the DF needs to manage. And what if you no longer have all the same gear by the time the DF pops? Both cases would need to be able to handle the possibility that you might upgrade something and toss it. There would be too many data integrity concerns. It's far safer to just require you to switch to appropriate gear when the queue pops.

If one is on right job and starts the duty while in the cutscene, that part of the quest is not marked as done, so when you are out of the duty you can pick up the quest at an earlier point and watch the cutscene from the start.
Not so if one chooses to skip the cutscene, then the cutscene is marked as done and you miss it.

What would be nice would be to be able to "cancel" the cutscene when the duty pops - it is not marked as done and you would be able to restart the cutscene once out of the duty. Then this would work even when you are on the wrong job.

This is in general true but certain cutscenes will keep you "Occupied" as in "Cannot commence duty while character is occupied" or whatever the message is. I think those are usually cutscenes that contain a zone change, such as when you use the experimental aetheryte to go to one of the Endwalker areas for the first time. These are the annoying ones because you're stuck in cutscene even if you're on the right job.

Really, the option to abort a cutscene without flagging it as complete would be the best option.
