The level of detail on the older gear matches the detail on our characters, and all it needs is some similar upscaling of patterns and details. Not the addition of grime and splotches. So many things lately are basically undyeable because the dye gets applied so poorly.
Yeah... Currently wearing the PvP recolor of the ShB DNC gear (it gave me the pink feathers and gold trim I desperately yearned for) and the only dyes it takes well are the dark ones because of that horrible grimy overlay.
