With the announcement of double dyeing coming to Final Fantasy XIV in the next expansion, it's time to unleash our creativity and envision the possibilities for customizing our gear like never before. In this thread, we invite you to join us in crafting a collective wishlist of double dyeing options for specific armor pieces in the game.

Maybe we get some devs looking at this thread ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is my wish :
I'd love to be able to dye the cape on this one seperately(Woodland Warden Set from the Store) :

Mao REALLY wants be able to switch metallics on gears. Is awfuls when some gears has silvers trim and other gears has golds trim and no can change either.

One thing they really need to straighten out is the Sky Pirate striking/scouting outfits. The jacket dyes the main coloured part, but the matching colour highlights on the gloves are undyeable.

If the cape dyes separately from the tunic, I intend to buy it.

If they leave it all as a single-coloured block and make the white undershirt dyeable instead, I'm not interested.

The demonstration from Fan Fest with the Baronial top has me concerned that they're going to take the second route.

I'm really looking forward to being able the dye the trim on the Kokuko Tsutsu-hakama and the Ovim Wool Bottoms of Casting especially the kokuko pants, I use them in sooo many of my glams.

I also want to be able to dye over the horrible blue on the Chimerical Felt Breeches of Casting It ruins a perfectly good little pair of Blackadder shorts :<

I wanna dye the gold part at the back of the Kumbhiraskin Gloves of the Black Griffin to the same colour as whatever I'm using for the rest but I don't wanna lose the gold claws.

I NEED THE CLOWN'S TOP TO BE FIXED. I wanna dye it BLACK like vantablack black not dusty crusty grey.

The sleeves on the Oasis Doublet I see loads of NPCs with this feature already and it haunts meeee

I could keep going and going but I'm generally really looking forward to seeing how much versatility I can wring out of even little things like changing a gold trimming to silver, or NOT an ugly metallic at all [altho maybe not so ugly with update!] I'm gonna be dying everything black at every available opportunity tho who am I kiddin' >.>

The sleeves can stay as they are. The undyeable green apron is a longstanding crime against glamour that needs to be dealt with.

I also would like it if they changed the Eastern Faire-goer's Attire, the Faire Joi (Top) has an annoying gold trim-detail, unlike the dungeon sets of the same style, which have matching Body and Leg color trim-details. That part should not be gold and undyeable, but rather the same as the bottoms, that part dyes correctly.

The Faire Kohakama (Bottoms) does not have this problem.

I hope they let us finally dye the top correctly, and the skirt gets the stockings finally dyeable with the new dye system.

Same! The one I want to change the most is the gold of the Moonward casting gear to silver. And maybe the gold on the Convoker’s boots too.
