Commendation Crystals for Trophy Crystals

Sitting on 20,000 Trophy Crystals with another 10,000 waiting to be claimed.
Would be kinda neat to have something to dump them on.
Augmented Hellhound is the most obvious thing, even if it costs like 50 Wolf Collars (50,000 crystals) or whatever.

People say there's not a lot of motivation to play PvP anymore, and honestly, for me it's because I'm looking at capped currencies, where every new 'level' feels like a waste.

Got all the glamours I care about, and glamour dresser's full anyway.

Could cash them in for rank 8 dark matter to sell. There's always plenty of fools who don't know it's a vendor item after all, but that's not exactly inspiring.

You pretty much answered it yourself.

But to go into your post, you are absolutely right that we generate essentially too many Trophy Crystals with nothing fun or decent to sink them into other than Wolfmark conversion.

Also as someone who played since Feast era, I think they missed the mark with Commendation Crystals - Wolf Collars used to be available even to Bronze players, Commendation Crystals being Diamond+ only does absolutely nothing for the average player's drive to engage with Ranked (most are Silver-Gold on average).

They wont drop Commendation Crystals to be purchasable for Trophy Crystals, but they both have issues.

Man l almost did not recognize you after you took off your helmet, lol. I only play casual Now. People spam quick chat so much more frequent in ranked... I'd rather make an arr relic.

I support this.

I am the worst kind of person. I find negative enjoyment from ranking. I find my pvp enjoyment from working towards "something" (garo, gc ponies and balls, field commander set, miner robo), as long as it's process-like: lose, no progress, win +1 progress.
I find going up and down by the mercy of the group I am randomly put together with unbearable waste of time. Lose, -1; lose, -1; lose, -1... Why even, what's the point?
I find the stuff you can buy with trophy crystals mostly not something I wanna have, so i make them into wolf collars, so many fxcking wolf collars. The glamours are mostly useless to me. Way before I was hoping they would release new weapon skins for trophy crystals (- because I genuinely liked some of those) more often than once in xpack but that's not going to happen.

I personally think it would be ideal for them to eventually phase the current ranked weapons into crystal trophy's to dump crystals for and just add a new weapons to still have a unique thing for ranked. I also do agree with the pricing of the rewards you said at least since I think just having a crystal trophy sync is fine, even if some people can say its lazy. Especially if it's a reward like old ranked rewards.

And sadge to see you drop ranked, but admittedly depending where you play it is really sweaty or just way too heated in quickchat, so I feel ya. Do what feels best for you.

It was said in another thread/place I think but would love for the special dyes to be added, easiest spending and I got at least 20.k+ 30.k+ of trophy crystals... at least get me to spend them, nothing is really worth it

Your helmet made me assume you would a hrothgar Or The green giant, lol.
Ranked also have more stake in it and that introduces more stress. And... The ranked weapons skin are cool, But there are really good alternative that are stress Free. Carrot isn't there to justify the cost to me.

and what am i to do when i queue for ranked and no pop in nearly 30 min? kick myself for not climbing quick enough?
