Get FC Room

IDK if this counts as "New Player" per se, if not please point me in the right section

How can I get a FC room, I have over 300k GIL currently

1. Join a Free Company. You can do this by right clicking on people around you and looking at their Free Company information. If you like the FC, check it says they have an estate, then click Apply. Alternatively, login to the lodestone, find an FC in the Community Finder and leave a message for them.
2. Type /teleport.
3. Look at the Other category and you should see a teleport destination to the location where the FC house is.
4. Enter the FC house.
5. There should be a door near where you entered. Click it and it will let you buy an FC room.

Alternatively, you can get an Apartment room for 500k without an FC. This is useful if you are not certain you will be with your FC forever.

If your goal is just "cheap housing" you would be better off in the long run saving to 500k and buying an apartment. FC rooms are very easy to lose, being at the mercy of both your whims and the FC leadership. Apartments are forever forever.
