Help me decide my job, share your recommendations

Hello adventurers,
I came back a few weeks ago, and I spent my time at Gridania as a bard, to entertain the players with performance, as a musician.

However, I looking for a fun job to play with in PVE and PVP.

I’ve unlocked the following jobs so far and what I used for them rn:
- bard (open world for musics)
- red mage (pve and pvp)
- gunbreaker (pve and pvp)
- sage
- samurai
- blue mage
- dragoon

I’m looking for a job what can entertain me in both pve and pvp and want to do mentorship.

I think about the gunbreaker and the dark knight as a maybe good for those purpose.

What is like to do in terms of roles: tanking with little self healing in solo gameplay and a decent damage outcome.

I’d like to hear your opinions and want to see your glamours for your recommendations.

What do you guys think, which one would be good for me?

People's definition of fun varies. It is not the same for everyone or there wouldn't be multiple classes.

Not sure what you meant, but healers are good for mentorship because you can carry people. Tanks like WAR or DRK are good for teaching people because of their rotations being less distracting, so you can focus on explaining things.

Tanks can do decent damage. It's not as low as healers, but it's not as high as DPS, but it feels impactful enough. The self-healing is very good (except on DRK), but they have a great shield ability. Tanks can survive things other roles can't, so they can ignore most mechanics if absolutely needed, provided it doesn't affect others or grow too many vuln stacks.
