What's wrong with PvP providing alternative gear options, if only for current tier HQ crafted equivalents? You aren't forced into it as crafted still has pentamelding and it would give options.

Aside from your comment, I am genuinely surprised how most people cannot imagine a dedicated pvp zone without jumping to immediate ptsd experiences from WoW story ganking.

I for one would enjoy a Eureka-like in its own ecosystem where banding with people would give you better chances of survival. Can also have objectives and areas to capture. But so far the ability collection is too shallow for making it interesting.
