Blue Mage is making me look like a 5 year old, it's frustrating

Really, I'd rather do Eureka or 100 atma steps than this thing.

Oh, my, god, man. Waiting 5 hours, sitting on party finder, looking for people to see if a dungeon can be run to get a spell, that you may or not get, because it's RNG, there is nothing that grins my ears, that utter waste of time of my day.

The only thing that happened in those 5 hours is that, besides nobody joining, a random guy I don't care about, tells me I need to join a discord. I'm not going to join any discord, I don't use any stupid modern social media, it should not be any requirement to do so.

And I hear that another limited job is coming in DawnTrash, STOP WASTING RESOURCES on limited garbage, do full jobs or nothing, thank you.

Blue Mage is pretty much only relevant during brief windows after it gets updated.

Try to do it outside of that time and hitting up one of the discords is probably the only way you're going to find people to group with.

Pretty much all the dungeons are soloable with 100% drop rate for the skills if you are even half competent.

I do wish Blue Mage, and the upcoming jobs would have been actual proper jobs, instead of more like mini-games that you do at the side.

I get most of them solo for fun. If you struggle soloing a specific one, you could ask for advice on it in case there is a way to that you're missing.

Often the parties do fill, just not always. There is usually better luck at weekends. You don't necessarily need a full party, you just want Level Synced enable so you are guaranteed to learn it.

There are often alternative places to get spell as well, such as the open world.

If it's spells you're hunting, Aetheric Mimicry + Mighty Guard + Basic Instinct (all easy to get) and you can unsync and solo most of the content for the spells. For the ones you can't solo, you can probably unsync it with 3-4 people.

The Masked Carnivale itself is all solo, no interaction needed.

The only time you'll need other people for Blu, is if you want to run the high-end raids for Morbol Mount or whatever.

Same. I only joined 2 or 3 groups for spells this expansion, and in hindsight they were probly doable solo(if not extra challenging - i do struggle to picture soloing eternity).

I did do it at level 90 when Endwalker released (so 560-580 gear). I don't know about BLU yet but if you can survive the autos and beat the DPS checks, then probably.

Dungeon spells are 100% if you do it synced.
