No, because then you get your hopes and dreams up and then you get disappointed and toxic when they don't turn out to be what you wanted when the expansion comes out. So best not to do it in the first place.
As a future pictomancer main:
-LB3 we draw Ultros and he comes down slamming his massive tentacles all over the place causes massive chaos.
-Having access to all 6 elements. Only saw 4 in the trailer but hopefully wind and water are aoes at least.
-Using a mudra like colour system when oaintint canvases.
-Hopefully the landscape paintings are also debuffs and not just buffs.
-Hopefully a bard like system where we can paint our own canvases and hang them in our homes.
I want Drk to be better at *SOMETHING* Than the other tanks without a certain streamer losing his mind and getting it streamlined.
BLM -- Ultima. Requires 2 polyglot. Punishing cast time. Cannot be insta cast.
SMN gets Phoenix phase followed by Demi Alexander with Shiva, Ramuh and Leviathan, this gets followed by Demi Shinryu while keeping the new trio until it all starts again with Bahamut cycle. If they want to go really wild they will change the trios for each phase with variety of cast timers and whatnot, making the rotation more flexible but insanely long overall. Fester and Energy Drain get upgraded into more Summon related abilities with proper effects, maybe potentially affecting the trio spells too to allow more flexibility in the overall rotation and not just get banked for the burst.
Cast lenghts get adjusted so there's less (or close to none) instant casts overall and the hits are beefier, to compensate the previously mentioned upgraded skills can either shorten/make some of them instant for short while/number of casts or allow to move (slowly or normally) during casting for a short while.
Really love that idea!Hot take but I think every level 100 job skill should be this major milestone of a skill because of the iconic level 100 threshold. Therefore every skill should be a dps skill of some kind that's flashy for every job and is their newest signature skill that fills the job identity. Take their LBs for example but make a mini version of them for level 100 but fit it in a rotation kind of way.
For SMN, I just want Levi, Shiva and Ramuh to complete my rainbow of gems. lol if we get another demi too, great!
I want Dark Knight to have more of the original job fantasy, bring back Dark Arts, maybe include a new ability called "Blood Sacrifice" where we sacrifice HP for haste like the original Blood Weapon did in Heavensward.. just anything to separate itself from the Warrior and to give it it's job fantasy back.
DRK - Interesting DPS buttons that aren't shoved into 1-2 minute burst windows. Make downtime less monotonous.
GNB - Just don't take anything away. It's perfect.
SGE - A mini-caster rotation (think less BLM and more SMN). Let sage be the DPS healer it was always meant to be.
SCH - Give miasma back
AST - Not sure.. It's almost perfect, could just use something during the downtime when we're spamming malefics.
DRK - Addition of more HP draining effects on current basic offensive abilities (standard single target and aoe weaponskills) paired with a skill that boosts damage of Bloodspiller, Quietus, Flood of Shadow, Edge of Shadow, and Shadowbringer by consuming your own HP.
SAM - Trait that upgrades Shoha into Corpse Piler, and Shoha II into Waterfowl Dance... >.>
BLM
- a trait that augments thundercloud procs when used under umbral ice to grant a portion of mp and makes the next non-fire spell you use grant the same amount of mp - ideally so that the combined mana you would get from those 2 gcds and a mana tick would be enough to get back to full mana.
- adjustment to umbral soul so that upon reaching 3 stacks of umbral, hearts and a paradox stack the timer freezes
- adjustment to manaward so that it deals a portion of the damage it blocks back to the enemy. 2 charges.
- Astral Fire paradox changed to insta-cast to create more weaving opportunities [especially if I got my wish for thundercloud procs]
Oh this would be kinda cool because even with a long cast time we would have a 30 second window to use it and opportunities to get 2 in a row with good timer management and amplify
