Yep, same thing here.
If anyone's looking for a somewhat cheap fix temporarily, enabling WFP item mode in Mudfish seems to have brought my ping down to 180ms and the packet loss seems to be negligible as well.
Still hoping that SE fixes this soon though.
@gimmeoliver and QS_W, Offpeak ping seems to have gotten better now, around midafternoon... before it bounces back up to 400~500+ from 5pm onwards... comes back down after 12~1am...
I'm probably not coming back to the post coz the mod doesn't seem to be taking other people's feedback into account... good luck bro

??? This has nothing to do with Microsoft Edge, what. I'm so confused, was this meant for some other post? I have not used Microsoft Edge in years but thank you for trying to help, I guess?Greetings gimmeoliver,
We're sorry to hear that you're still experiencing a connection issue despite all the troubleshooting you've tried. The team would like to suggest these other steps to try:
- Within Microsoft Edge, click the "Settings" option on the top right of the browser (under the three dots shown) and go to "Privacy, Search and Services" and go to the "Tracking Prevention" section. Make sure it is turned on and select the "Balanced" option. Additionally, if any settings have been changed overall, it is best to keep things at default which you can perform manually by using the "Reset Settings" option under the "Settings" tab. Lastly, please ensure that Microsoft Edge is up to date by using the "Settings" > "About Microsoft Edge" option near the bottom left.
If the suggestions provided above does not resolve the issue, there may be a communication/routing error. At that point we may suggest other steps. Should it still not resolve the issue please do not hesitate to contact us back and we'll gladly look into it further.
Yeah, I dunno about the moderator comments but the best I can do to help with the ping is the thing with Mudfish I mentioned, hope it gets better for you as well!@gimmeoliver and QS_W, Offpeak ping seems to have gotten better now, around midafternoon... before it bounces back up to 400~500+ from 5pm onwards... comes back down after 12~1am...

I am having similar ping as you during this weekend. Everything was fine before 7pm SGT but it started to spike to 500ms+ with horrible packet loss. The ping didn't even drop back to normal before I went to bed lol.
Using StarHub - packet loss ~30%
Ping statistics for 80.239.145.6:
Packets: Sent = 87, Received = 62, Lost = 25 (28% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 304ms, Maximum = 313ms, Average = 308ms
SquareEnix please help/ I spend hours on hotline with ISP and tried pinging from AWS in Singapore (~20% packet loss)
Started around 10 days ago?
I have the same issue, also from Singapore - Provider: MyRepublic
Im also on myrepublic as ISP, its almost half of my sub time of cannot play because of the big ping/lagging, slowly regretting buying dawntrail lol
I played from Indonesia on EU server since stormblood, years ago it was normal when i started, i can even do savage, and usually when it lagging I usually opt out vpn or wait a day or two and it should fix it self but now almost 2 week of not playable at all
I find a way to work but it's me traveling to Oceania DC and its smooth as butter but the loss not being able to play with my friends from EU, but the point is if it work like normal years ago but why now it broken as hell, i don't even know what to do, Its same game same ISP.
Its frustrating because it's subscription base, meaning I gotta make use all of sub time as possible
Hope they fix it asap man, i dont wnna spend another bucks on VPN when i dont need to before
Hi Palindar
Are you on their Gamer plan?
JF
I found out what's likely causing those issues: https://myrepublic.net/sg/outage-not...voice-network/
Looks like it will continue to at least June 25thWe’re aware that a handful of users may have recently experienced slower connections, especially when accessing servers in the Europe and US. This is due to multiple subsea cable cuts impacting various regions, including Europe, the US, and Asia. These fiber breaks have affected our upstream provider’s partners (Telia, Telstra, NTT) and resulted in higher latency and potential connection drops when connecting to these destinations.
(I think Starhub owns MyRepublic now, so they probably have the same upstream partners)
