Island Sanctuary at Max Rank should give you something for Cosmic Exploration

If they are going to discontinue the Island Sanctuaries major updates, they should give you a reward for maxing it out, which could be used in the Cosmic Exploration.

Obviously, it wouldn't be anything that isn't cosmetic. Some thoughts on what it could be:

- Island Sanctuary inspired cosmetic skins for buildings.

- Unlocked Island Sanctuary landmarks for landmark spots.

- A small landmark thing in a unique spot separate from other landmarks, that could be toggled. Perhaps some kind of statue commemorating completion of the island sanctuary. It could also serve as a "trophy system" showing off various achievements from the game. Imagine if you could pick different statues displaying unique achievements.

I.e. Defeated an ultimate raid, so you get its statue in your statue spot. Completed Island Sanctuary. Completed the Bozja storyline. Beat Eurekas secret raid. Completed the Doman restoration. etc.


Things that are purely decorative, but would be an incentive to show off having your island sanctuary finished. ;3

No thanks. Island Sanctuary hasn't been good since the patch it got introduced, everything they ever added was more of the most boring side of the system.

Having it directly affect any other systems would be horrid.

They don't usually link prior expansion systems to the new ones. I doubt it's going to end up any different.

People misunderstanding my thread. I never said that it had to be something beneficial to the cosmic exploration. I just want that to have something cosmetic linked to the island sanctuary, for those who took the time to do it. Anyone can go back and complete it if they desire to. There would be nothing stopping you.

Personally, the only decent thing they could do to keep me invested beyond IS end/max would prolly have it give some passive gil (not via market board) but something like Doma enclave.

We could make the same arguments about Eureka and Bozja. Where is the recognition in other content that I grinded all the way to level 60 in Eureka and to max rank in Bozja?

we technically got that in the form of glamour, mounts and emotes that we unlocked along the way. At best things that we can hope for is any returning NPC recognising us in some one off line if we did other stuff

Yeah, I'm not a fan of spreadsheet sanctuary. It would've been cool if we could've moved and had a house there and kicked off the mammets so that we could've updated the island and made it truly our own but meh.
