Whenever I am in the fight with Endsinger, my PC shut down and restart when the boss cast the second time "planetes" exactly at the frame where the rocks assemble to a planet.
With try and error I can assume it depends on my Resolution and also my fps, because around and over 90 fps my game crash even at the first planet animation.
Over 2 months ago I bought 2 new Monitors who have a native resolution of 2560x1440 and a maximum of 160Hz.
I played ff14 with the native resolution and with 90 fps to keep a good performance.
and for a period of time until my thread here, I never had issues with any content so far.
But when I entered the Endsinger fight over 5 days ago. It shut down every time at the same frame when the planet assembles from the rocks.
At first I tried all tweakable value that came in my mind lower FPS like 60 fps and the resolution still 2560x1440, it still crashed.
I also turned off Gsync and Freesync feature of my monitor and still crashes.
Only when I tried my old Resolution from my previous monitors, 1920x1080, the Fight against the Endsinger won't crash.
GPU Usage are stable around 40 to 55%, if I can trust my task manager.
The temperature of my CPU and Co are around 40 to 52°c.
My Event viewer showed me that the crashs are "Kernel Power Error 41" and I tried all recommended troubleshooting which obviously didn't work.
For me its utterly strange why only this fight cause such crashs? What is so special on this animation to cause such error?
I really hope there is workaround because its really sad to have such nice monitors but cannot enjoy it because that one fight and maybe future similar fights will cause such crashs.
