I like the attempt to add alternate options and the UI itself. Found this thread because I wanted to say I liked the UI they made lol. Unfortunate it was unhappy but, w.e its a thread to post in on the topic.
As for items, they look okay but certainly other events have enticed me more. The saucer token and maps are a good deal. Maybe they could add boosters in future ones, like:
- Epicest Epic Echo - Enhances Epic Echo with max echo at start (if not already), and if alone double defense (or perhaps a respectable X% damage reduction, to be more consistent between tanks and non-tanks).
- Tribal Patron - Syncs the tribe quest (should consider this by default though). Triples next beast tribe reputation, double reward (cannot be used on an expansion released after the event)
- Pull the Leve - Leve costs 25x, grants 10x reward
- Liquid Renown - 25% PvP rank* booster decent duration *(not the bronze, silver, stuff, the one that has a rewards track)
- Wicked Fate - 2x shared FATE rank and 1.5x bicolor for X FATEs (10?). When few or no one is around recovery (healing spells and abilities) are 30% more effective and you deal 2% max hp damage.
- Intense Elemental Metorite - Grants substantial exp and elemental bonus (in Eureka), easier admission into the final space
- Judge's Writ - Greatly increases ranking and consumable effects (including Bozja specific stuff), easier admission into the dungeons
- Grand Adventure, the Spark Notes - used to replace an ARR relic book step (fill in this idea for other potential relic hurdles) like:
- Dwarf Light of Aleineleidelieleeel - douse a relic in it to gain substantial light
- Snapped Collection of Glittering Rainbow Stones - Each one takes the place of an Atma shard (wild card stones)
- Escalating Phoenix Down - (Deep Dungeon) Allows you to continue at the rounded down 15 levels from where you died, yet continue to potentially earn the achievement (make the new default 50)
Naturally price and quantity you can hold would change based on type, perhaps even going into the quest item space so you can't trick the game (for something particularly OP).
While these events are practically the only valuable thing BLU, limited jobs, get- I personally hope they can use these weekly and such challenge logs to encourage playing normally. I'd rather play a real job than a limited job I'll pull out of the dusty closet to cheese stuff, get a strong FOMO vibe (which I hate) if I don't join in earlier, and then stuff it back in for the next torrential tomestone day.
