They're pretty whatever rewards but nothing dissimilar to previous events. I will gladly take the MGP/maps![]()
The last event had way better rewards, there is nothing in this one I'm interested in at all.
Skip.

I like that they're adding new systems to the mogtome event and even changing up the nature of the weeklies every week.
However, the rewards themselves are kind of disappointing, and if the pic on the event page is to be believed then it means the alliance raid group they selected was crystal tower... which, just, why? There's already plenty of incentives to run that outdated, undertuned raid series. But sure, add a fourth reason.
Overall I think these events shine hardest when there're either good rewards, good content you're incentivized to run, or both. Because even if the rewards aren't to my liking, if it pushes people to run content that I enjoy, then it means I get to pull people to do enjoyable content with relative ease (unlike now, where if I want to do orbonne I just sit in the queue for 30m). This event seems to lack either of those things, but kudos to them for trying something new at least.
edit: Also I got like 30 maps last time and not one of them even got to the final room and it just filled my inventory with crap and wasted hours of my life completing them. I know RNG gonna RNG but jesus christ I hate maps so much it's unreal, miss me with even bothering to do that again.

Agreed, I’m glad they showed some creativity and originality in how things work but the missing link is something new in the rewards… I just don’t see how they can’t manage at least one completely new thing for 100 tomes each event. I mean, these are so many months apart. They could have that new reward, then one or two 100-tome rewards that rotate and return from the past if you missed them.
What kind of rewards should be added? Not being dismissive, just genuinely curious what people would suggest.
I actually like the concept but wow are the rewards lacking. They're not even adding dragons. Seems par for the course with EW's content.

Imagine if they took one of the monthly new additions to the cash shop, and instead of putting it in the cash shop, they simply added it to the tome event as the new thing. Maybe in another universe, haha.Agreed, I’m glad they showed some creativity and originality in how things work but the missing link is something new in the rewards… I just don’t see how they can’t manage at least one completely new thing for 100 tomes each event. I’m not picky and it doesn’t necessarily have to be something I personally want. But my expectation would be to have at least one thing completely new to the game appear as a reward for these.
For me, the real reward is getting to play Rival Wings, which is the most fun thing in the game for me, especially cause PVP is the only mode that actually has Sage as a real job and not a reskin of Scholar.
