Upcoming mogtome rewards look a bit... boring and uninspired...

Take me for example I do a lot of Bozja because I find it fun and is a nice passive income, so when new players need to clear DR/CCL/DAL or just in the zones they can find some stupid person who helps carry them through the content. due to me having the Bozja gear and being willing to dump lost actions and essences. Now if you make some of those big ticket items easy to get it would disincentivise me from being as active in there.

Im on OCE so stuff like Bozja can be.... hit and miss. World content can be soloed at least but try to get a CL, DB or Dal? Not gonna happen.
That said i got lucky when i was in a DRS static, took advantage of the activity and got as much farming done as i could, got lucky with 5 golden Gabrials.
Used 1, sold the other 4 for 60 million and got myself a Mansion for the first time ever lol.

Anouther alternate route they could take with rewards is to actually make some mounts for it, maybe a special Lynx mount that all of us EX mount collectors were hoping for but got shafted on with that dragon instead.

Man 5? that is some great luck.
But yeah making new items for the Mog events would be cool, Personally I don't see it happening though.
That dragon meta mount feels so out of place just feels like something they developed but no longer needed and went to the cutting room only to be brought back as the EW meta mount lmao.

This wasn't over a month though, we were running for 5 months due to team losses and having a lot of people who have never Savage or EXed before, I spent that entire tome running DR any time I could. (On OCE people dont use Duty Finder much instead just jumping to PF, even for CT sometimes lol).

Reading the replies I remembered something from awhile back that explains why we dont get new items or more content all that much: "That will cost you a raid tier" and "Small broke Indie company" if i want to be really cynical lol.
I think a lot of us (Including myself) forget that SE only gives the team a shoestring budget for whatever reason. Games their cash cow and they wont give it a proper budget lol. Thats why we have the Mogstation.
A lot of these groundbreaking changes we were told were impossible in the past, happened not because SE put the time and research into fixing the issue, but because one staff member or group went off in their own time and made it work off the clock.

Still. least they aren't using AI to make content for us lol.

Hopefully the second half of the Mogtome event will be better as 6 months is a pretty damn long time to leave people without new content and most i know are already pretty burnt out. Games still riding a WoW player influx and i dont think many of them will stick it out once content dries up as we have already seen lol.
