Yes and no. I've done that and made some millions when supply ran dry...but it took probably 2 years of just sitting on a bunch of items which is not really worth it. It's also entirely speculation whether or not the supply runs dry enough in the first place because those items could show up again in the next moogle tomes event.

On the other hand, a lot of items still retain value, the hairstyle from Zandor is a nice passive income for me that has been in events in the past. I think when items get completely crushed in a Moogle event is telling they have no real intrinsic value other than the scarcity. Part of the reason why I don't really go after minions.

Yup, but I got a bunch from doing roulettes instead of dealing with Pagos. easy 10mil from just stuffing something in my retainer. Also, 10 million on Balmung was an outlier price on Balmung it sat at 2-4mil on Balmung before the event.
