Bahamut meta was better. Remove damage reductions.

Remove tanks and healers from the big pvp modes, only keep em for ranked stuff or CC, way easier to balance.
lol what? It definitely doesn't have anything to do with a consistent streaming schedule, making time for other content or games, or playing her favorite map. I can go command the other maps just as well, and if you're talking about CC (already gotten top 100), so I guess that leaves RW?
Who even are you?

I just want some competent job design along with a mild difficulty curve. Asking for more seems to much right now.

yeah how fortunate it lines up with only playing the game on shatter days.
we get it, grats you can feel good about pub stomping randoms doing an exp queue while you tryhard spam macros for a full game on a poorly designed map. maybe next you can break into an elementary school and pwn everyone in a fist fight. you'll make top 100(lol) there too i'm sure.
SE/Yoshida needs to explain the actual purpose of the battle high system. The base DRs for jobs makes perfect sense, if tuned a little high. But the BH system itself poisons the whole thing.
It's massively counter to how PvE objective oriented all the frontlines are, especially the new ones. Shouldn't you reward players for playing the objectives? if the point isn't to do objectives then why even bother? just drop 60 people in a giant CC arena and let them duke it out
Honestly, it took me half a FL match to figure out the DRK meta when I wasn't even that much into PVP. I died to it two times and stopped a minute and thought, wait something is going on there, they're coordinating their efforts in such a way that standing near that DRK with the rest of the mob is bad news, let's try not to do that. And if I am let's have cleanse and shield ready to go. That's literally all the effort it took on my part to avoid dying to it again lmao..people are in here arguing trying to fix a problem that is easily fixed by people just caring about their performance a little and taking some pride when they queue up for an activity.
The objectives are important because, at least in the current meta, it's very beneficial to not fight at all. The nodes give some meaning to the fights, give more incentive to try and engage with enemies. At least... it is the intended meaning. You'll find any coordinated team have about a 60-40 split in score through kills and objectives. Which one is favored more is game dependent.SE/Yoshida needs to explain the actual purpose of the battle high system. The base DRs for jobs makes perfect sense, if tuned a little high. I agree strongly with most of your post, but I wanted to highlight this part for a couple reasons.Premades are not fun to play with. That is our core problem. Get caught in salted earth? You die. You either instantly evaporate people, or you get instantly evaporated. Now in theory, you would assume that "Hey every team has a premade now! That would make it more fun!" It actually doesn't. The gameplay is repetitive, and boring, and greatly encourages the use of a limited number of jobs to power up the meat grinder. That is not fun gameplay to me. Meta stack is boring, and it encourages me not to queue a second time when I see this sort of gameplay, as it does with so many other people.
I literally hopped on the forums tonight after witnessing this happen in my last FL game. This morning, I was happily running several games of FL over and over even though my team kept losing. It was okay though, I was getting in lots of kills and people were just trying their best, so I had a drive to get a win. After my win, I took a break for most of the day.
30 minutes ago I queued up again looking for more of that fun. Immediately, I can see another team has a meta premade. They just feed on my team (and 3rd team) over and over, and there was nothing my team (or 3rd team) could do about it. I didn't get killed, but it seems like most people don't know they need to shield when they get pulled in... and there's nothing I can do when majority of my teammates are dying around me instantly.
Meta team wins with a double or triple point lead over both other teams.
Why the hell would I want to queue up again after that? Yeah I might get lucky and get on the "winning" side, but chances are I wont, and whats the point anyway?
One last thing to say on this post: even though this is an issue, I personally don't want SE to remove 4man premades. I have a lot of fun queuing with my FC mates into this mode, as its the only PVP we can do together. Its the casual mode, 4man is okay. I was sad when 8man was removed...
I would really prefer some other solution.
Must not be very good at reading comprehension... my favorite map is shatter, thus spend a majority of my pvp time playing shatter... is that more understandable?yeah how fortunate it lines up with only playing the game on shatter days.

If they want to win, the guide is right there in the signature. I really like the mode, and want to do my best in it. Apparently, it's not very hard according to other posters since it's "op and requires no skill."
My stance has always been wanting to see people to improve, to understand meta and strategy, party up and coordinate in chat. There is a lot going on in this mode, and I will beat it into people until they understand it or give up. Either way benefits me. Better games or continue to grind exp faster.
i can take someone saying their favorite map is shatter about as seriously as someone who says their favorite expansion is dawntrail.
you just like it because it's the only map your shenanigans win at because it's the one where nobody fights back. nobody wants to read your mediocre guide on how to press w and then press and aoe skill on unaware noobs.
if you really cared about improving either the players or the mode, your go-to strategy wouldn't be to form a pre-made of meta classes to cheese as many kills and wins out of pve players as possible.
you're looking for an easy pub stomp and just trying to dress it up. nobody's impressed.
