The purpose of mentioning it on the forums is precisely to raise awareness and to encourage people to report transgressions. Are there not enough PvP Discords already that could address this? Or is that not of interest to them? So, it is better to not deal with the problem but complain about it on the forums? These people will never get banned then, you do not have to post names on the forums, create a discord make an investigation team full of the people who are accusing others of cheating and put out a video, post, something. Especially if doing a "little research" is all that is needed to expose these people.

Wouldn't shock me, particularly since I've seen people on a couple of those Discord servers freely admit to using banned add-ons, though not ones that would give a PvP advantage.I wouldn't be surprised if at least a couple of those PVP Discords (but certainly not all of them) prefer to keep it on the down low because they're havens for exactly the kind of people who like to use cheats, all while cackling with glee that the odds of getting caught are minuscule and the punishment when they are is nearly negligible. Which then just feeds back to the "why bother to report at all" mentality that accounts for *other* kinds of behavior going unchecked.
The organization such servers provide would make mass reporting of lethargic play fairly trivial, but again other than organizing premades the substantive content seems rather thin IMO.

Nobody really cares about third party plugins, despite everyone talking about how evil and bad they are half the community is using them, and will continue to do so because SE can't implement basic, easy QoL fixes into their game, and not to mention the RP community literally only plays this MMO because they can use these third party programs, and SE likely isn't willing to take the finnancial hit from implementing anti-cheat programs and making that community move onto another MMO.
I doubt PvP servers are really spreading this garbage, more like pointing and laughing at it. Most of the tools are trash anyway and aren't going to change the outcome of any matches, since they're being used by garbage players who'll die just as much with or without them. I can't even say I really see that much cheating firsthand either. Only a few instances come to mind; White mages who can instaneously Miracle of Nature the second anyone presses their LB button repeatedly, and pick you out of a crowd of 20+ people repeatedly, and the one machinst I saw flying underneath Onsal Hakkar over a year ago. If you are capable of using the eyes in your head to read the MP/HP bars, and your map you really don't need much else to succeed in Frontlines considering the calibre of players we're dealing with on the regular.
They are. The only public PVP server on Crystal has zero Frontline premades or queue syncs, just people posting screenshots of their 30-win/5-loss weeks that they attained via other groups.
Quick PSA to commanders.
If you condescendingly refer to your team-mates as "ducklings" as you issue increasingly confusing commands, odds are you will instill resentment and be ignored by those with a modicum of self-respect.
We understand our role in your game is to pad the win-rate of your premade, but rubbing our noses in that fact will backfire.

Funny thing is, we're far from alone in doing that, making the spam even more useless. A few weeks ago I requested politely (honest) a commander tone it down a bit. Got a less than polite response. Also got 6 commendations. This is why I just auto-mute anyone that spams commands, would much rather see the "this message is filtered/blocked" filling the chat than whatever nonsense they're spewing (especially when there's 50/50 chance it's even making a difference), and that goes double for the ones that add sound alerts while trying to bark orders.

Just a random thought, but....
I wonder if there's a correlation between 'commanders being told to shut up and being muted by a lot of people' and 'commanders preferring to communicate only with their premade in discord and ignoring the rest of the alliance'.
I strongly suspect so. I wouldn't be surprised if the commander that's asked to tone it down more than anyone else - or the one that more people would like to ask - if the one that is likely to refer to the rest of the alliance as "ducklings" as in a prior post.
