It's massively counter to how PvE objective oriented all the frontlines are, especially the new ones. Shouldn't you reward players for playing the objectives? if the point isn't to do objectives then why even bother? just drop 60 people in a giant CC arena and let them duke it out
The objectives are important because, at least in the current meta, it's very beneficial to not fight at all. The nodes give some meaning to the fights, give more incentive to try and engage with enemies. At least... it is the intended meaning. You'll find any coordinated team have about a 60-40 split in score through kills and objectives. Which one is favored more is game dependent.
