I mean, if my team had been more focused on ice today, rather than chasing a team to base, causing us to lose have our big ice and a lot of deaths since the third team came in and stole it, we would’ve won. But yea, keep saying not focusing on the ice is more important

You can PvP other players when and where it makes sense to do so. Also, personally I don't find it understandable not to be invested in whether the team I've joined wins or loses.

I want to kill players, I don't care about the score. Simple as. If they was open world pvp I would do that instead.

You do you, as long as what you do contributes positively (i.e. you don't lose points) to the team score.

Some people prefer pvp to be about fighting other players rather than hitting a giant crystal. Also a lot of players understandably don't even care about whether their team is winning or losing.

That fine for stuff like seal rock and ovoo, but for shatter the objective is important. The ice is your biggest source of points. Plus, from what I saw a full other team was attacking their ice while they were fighting.

It's still usually the team that wins the most fights and builds up BH that'll win in Shatter. Passing on an opportunity to pinch an enemy to hit your safe ice is a huge waste.

I do know of some groups that refuse to hit ice at all and will go in by themselves. Not much you can do about that sadly. It can be hard to tell when a they're taking an opportunity or when they're wasting time.

Pretty sure FL will be part of the Mogtome event starting in a week. I'd like to encourage premades and other Discord-based abusers (such as the Q-synchers) to back off during this period. Maybe take the opportunity to learn to play solo. If you unleash your usual tricks, this will achieve two things:

1. Make FL miserable for 5 weeks as the transient casuals flock to the ranks of those who don't care and play accordingly.

2. Lead new players (some of whom may get hooked by this potentially-fun mode) to conclude that FL is dominated by a bunch of seal-clubbing psychopaths, so we only see the newbies again come the next Mogtome event.

IMO they should've revamped Secure and deleted Shatter. Shatter wasn't fun before, but this new one is even worse.

Providing an example of what not to do doesn't invalidate what I said.

Sometimes, yes, it makes sense to have some of your team on the ice but they can't be so tunnel-visioned that one or two teams can just come in and pick you off. So you may need to dedicate a few people or most of your team, depending upon circumstances, to getting off the ice.

Likewise, what good is your taking the ice going to do if the other 2 teams manage to get good numbers of BH and your team doesn't get any? Good luck in that situation, even with Shatter.

Well, seeing as my team was just down 300 from winning grabbing your big ice seems a tad more important than fighting another team. And having a dedicated ice team doesn’t mean anything when the entirety of the third team is killing that group while grabbing the ice.
