I doubt RW will ever experience an influx of players. The complexity creates a massive barrier to entry.
Create an actual ladder through match-making. Gives players who care something to climb.I'm not inclined to agree with any "reward reduction" because it always sounds like "punishment" in disguise, or how people always assume it'll mean only the bestest players evar are going to show up and play (and likely carry them), while forgetting to remember where that leaves the majority of mid-tier players.
One doesn't climb higher on the ladder by kicking off the lowest rungs, *you are* the new lowest rung.

The worse part is that these weapons skins are gatekept behind diamond rank. They really need to bring back how ranked feast awarded the weapon skins. Or They can learn from gw2 Where you don't have to get to certain ranks, but you have to win to get progress towards a legendary pvp gear.Well, we're getting "new PVP Gear" with 7.1 but I wonder if it'll be anything worth chasing after for glam purposes.
So much of the PVP gear already feels like pointless bloat, like all of the recolors of other content gear on the trophy crystal vendor, or some of the downright goofy looking stuff they expect me to spend wolf marks on (which I do and then trade-in for company seals). Even the Tactical sets they added recently was kinda "meh" for me personally, and I'm not really interested in the Hellhound weapons. At 17,500 crystals, and the chance of that hitting cap before 7.1, I'll have to hope there's vendor trash I can spend them on if the new additions aren't appealing to me.

Man i love the Pack/Liege gear, theyre incredibly creative and unique but the single job restriction kills it for me. Wish they would unlock those.Well, we're getting "new PVP Gear" with 7.1 but I wonder if it'll be anything worth chasing after for glam purposes.

lol. So you call something a "terrible analysis" while regurgitating an even worse idea that would actually have a negative impact on the entire participation overall.Terrible analysis. 3rd place will always go after 2nd place to secure the 2nd place. Why would 3rd place go and feed 1st? Lol. I dont think youve played anything else in the past 10 years. The way people play now is meta, and the easiest way to get rewards. To me, there should be 0 rewards for anyone not first place, that would give everyone an incentive to try to be first place.
Mawlzy's take is mostly correct as far as Primal goes as well. Obviously 2nd attacking 3rd and vice-versa happens on occasion, but far more often (especially in Seize and Onsal) you'll see the two teams that are down pincer the leading team (if the positioning is feasible) to the point where they trap them in their spawn. I also think people forget about games where the lead actually fluctuates several times because of it. If the two losing teams attack each other, it's over stupid stuff like grudges, eternally fighting over one node nobody seems to be able to claim for minutes on end while ignoring the entire map, or similarly playing cat-and-mouse where nobody wants to back-off. Also don't forget if the 2nd or 3rd place team suddenly has all the tomelith spawns in their base and the other losing team narrow-mindedly pushes them instead of making the effort to circle around to sandwich 1st place. That's a ignorance/laziness issue, not a "3rd doesn't want to feed 1st so attack 2nd instead."
