Reminds me of Besieged in FFXI where you lose the XP buff if you lose Besieged . Maybe make it like if you fail a fate, you can't fly there until you beat it the next time it spawns . or you can't use the Aetherytes in that zone until you beat the FATE (can't teleport there)
