Something I have been thinking about, what purpose, or, who does the tome weapon actually appeal to now?

In the past, the highest ilevel weapons (Savage, Relic and Tome) appealed to different people and so, they all had a purpose. Savage weapons were for those that cleared Savage, Relic weapons were for those that wanted a strong weapon and didn't mind trading time for it and the tome weapon was the easiest one to get which appealed to the people who didn't want to do either of the other options, or even as an interim weapon whilst getting either of the other 2.

Currently, the Savage weapon is still the same, the tome weapon is still the same, however, the relic has completely changed. You don't need to trade time for the relic as you get it doing things you were already doing, so it just comes automatically. It requires less effort than even the tome weapon. So now, who does the tome weapon appeal to? Well, noone. It is just a weapon you get before you get one of the others. The relic even has the benefit for not requiring any capped tomes, so you can focus on using those tomes for gearing other slots. Not to mention, I don't even think the weapon upgrade mat is outside savage yet (could be wrong), which makes the tome weapon even less appealing for anyone not doing savage.
