Proposal for FFXIV: Introducing an Over-the-Shoulder Camera View

As a new and avid player of Final Fantasy XIV, I'd like to suggest a feature that could enhance our gaming experience: an over-the-shoulder camera view.

This camera view would be situated to either the right or left of the player's character, merging the benefits of first and third-person perspectives.

Benefits
By offering a new angle, this view enhances immersion, allowing players to better appreciate their character's presence and actions in the game world. It also provides strategic advantages in gameplay, particularly in combat and exploration.

Customizability
The option for players to choose which side—right or left—for the camera to be positioned on emphasizes personalization and playstyle adaptability.

I personally would not enjoy this as a raider/ultimate person so I wouldn't use it.

For those of us who love adventuring and questing, this optional view would be a real treat. It’s totally optional so there's no pressure to use it, but it's there for anyone who's into that sort of thing, just like I am
