    TT Card 362 (Gancanagh)

As someone who didn't do Eureka Orthos right when it was added, I'd love to see an alternate way to obtain this card, whether that be moving it to Bronze sacks, putting it on an NPC, or even just making it a reward for a Moogle Tomestone event. It's very difficult to find groups willing to do Eureka Orthos at this point, and I'm having a really hard time trying to solo farm aetherpool levels so that I stand a chance in floors 30+.

The TT cards that dropped from Heaven-on-High were added to NPCs in patch 4.5 and I'd really love it if this card could also have an alternate method to obtain it.

I can't agree more. I called that happening on day one, and people were saying "they will give another way to get it". Surprise they did not (they may do it in 6.58, but if they don't, I wouldn't hope for any chance) . Even in first week it was pain to get. Especially since lvl 40 boss is probably the hardest until stage 80. With a team that don't know the strat, you'll probably stupidly die and have to begin from anew. So yeah, give people that just want the card a mean to get the card, because right now, the hardest thing to get it entering the content, not the content itself.

Nope? Let's look at the mechanics for each boss.

10 - Proximity AoE and 3 circle AoEs at once (Meh)
    20 - Cone AoE Tethers
30 - Chasing AoEs, sides/middle cleave line aoes
    40 - Twisters. It's just twisters.
50 - A massive boss that charges into you then forces you to run away from it then back into its hitbox or vice versa, half room cleaves, and a ball that paralyses you if you don't kite it
60 - Basically just Gilded Araya
70 - There is an attack where the safespot is 1% of the arena's size, the safespot is different depending on how she feels today, and you die if you fail
80 - Cone AoEs, magnets, and an instant kill zone in the boss's hitbox
90 - Same as floor 70 but it's outside of the boss' hitbox this time
99 - Star AoEs or sunspots, Hot and Cold, and donut/PB aoes with one of two different additional AoEs at the same time.

In my experience, 50 is the second hardest boss and 80 is the hardest. Anyone who thinks that floor 40 is harder than 50 either hasn't fought 50 or fundamentally misunderstands the first "Fourth Turn" boss's mechanics.

...Oh right, your only Savage clears are past expansions' that you did in EW unsynced.

You can solo Eureka enough to get all the TT cards. Just do the weekly challenge log killing stuff near your level, and knock off the quests as they pop up. With just one hour a week you'll be there well before 7.0 drops.

Eureka Orthos is the deep dungeon, not the adventuring foray. The point still stands though, after all there is an achievement for soloing Eureka Orthos all the way to floor 100.

SO SE used to put some "hard-to-get" cards on NPCs in a manner that sort of made sense. Think about Eureka (not the dungeon). I think each of the "zone bosses" dropped cards at a low chance if you killed them when they popped. If you finished all of the Eureka content available (not including BA), in the next expansion, the cards were on NPCs. And if I recall, those NPCs had pretty strong decks or very frustrating match rules. And that was a good balance.

They also put some other hard-to-get cards on NPCs as well, such as the 24-man cards from the Stormblood era. I think those are also on NPCs in Kugane.

I was disappointed to see that we made it to the end of EW and I don't think they've added many "alternate ways" to get certain cards (looking at your Copied Factory).

If SE's plan is to make another TT mount for having all of the cards from 313-4XX, then some need to be locked behind certain content to give "value" to the mount. Think of the cards locked behind blue mage. It "forces" you to do content that you wouldn't have done otherwise. And in some ways, that's a good thing.

ShB and ARR alliance raids have their bonus loot drop in each party coffer instead of the alliance coffer. I don't know why they made it shit again for EW, or why they didn't change HW/SB as well.
#295 is still likely going to be the hardest card to get (Though we do skip Titan and Basic Relativity now) from a duty, unless DT adds another insanely low drop rate card to a duty that isn't easily out-ILed.

There's a fine line between grindy and f'annoying, that multiple rng layers cross without trouble. Guess where that card is ?
I went to farm with groups dedicated to that card, yet got nothing to show for it beside an almost capped aetherpool that doesn't really allow me to farm it any way easier

Nah, they're pretty accurate in the lvl 40 boss being the hardest until the floor 80 one, simply because the twisters (while easy to avoid) do have the unforgiving AoE insta-kill.

Meanwhile, the mechanics of the floor 50/60/70 bosses don't actually oneshot (unless you're running this at an incredibly low aetherpool level, maybe). When it comes to the floor 70 boss, "depending on how she feels today" is just hilariously incorrect. The fourth (and last) crystal of each set spawns further out from the center, and indicates where the safe spot will be. Glowing = safespot inside the hitbox, on the side closest to the crystal, not-glowing = safespots on either side of the crystal.

Of course, this is different when it comes to running the place solo, but the person you quoted mentioned running it with a team.
