Been playing at 120FPS since Shadowbringers and never noticed there was an issue with physics. I'll have to do some A/B testing.

Same as now, but instead of moving a distance per frame it's distance per time. And on the other side of the coin, getting good scaleable cloth simulation working in a setting that can well have 100 other players on screen isn't trivial by any stretch. Given that this game engine is already hugely CPU bound (And by a single composition thread at that) in high player count situations even on relatively high end CPUs, I'm not sure how people think it's going to work.
Would be nice. I've couple times capped my FPS to 60 for them, but slashing my frames in half just for it isn't really preferable experience.
Edit: Especially as the in-game option doesn't even allow me to cap it to 60. Goes from 36 to 72 to 144, or unlimited.
A quick search shows that this has actually been a known thing for years.

Now in this case it's "haha funny jiggle physics" but it obviously extends to more than just those.
And while searching for the topic I found some other funky stuff tied to framerate

Interesting. I just tested this myself and I definitely noticed the boob jiggle difference on some glams but everything else seemed the same. Personally I prefer little to no jiggle so this doesn't bother me at all, but if other people want the issue fixed then fair enough.A quick search shows that this has actually been a known thing for years.

Like I said, while the posts I found were specifically about the jiggle it doesn't affect just those physics but cloth and hair physics as well.Interesting. It's not just the jiggle but some clothing items lack physics when you move around with uncapped framerate. I tend to notice it when I'm in Limsa since it's quite crowded so my framerate drops a bit and all the sudden things have a bit of weight to them when you start or stop moving. Unfortunately, I prefer to keep my framerate high and rather not slow it down just to see some jiggle physics.
It's like Quake3 with 333 fps. At this frame rate you could jump much further. And while searching for the topic I found some other funky stuff tied to framerate
