Wuk Lamat is the worst and most annoying character ever in this game

I reserving my decision until after Dawntrail. After all, if we give her a continent and she turns out to be the big bad for the next five expansions, all will be forgiven. But if this game is insisting it's good and right to install randos at the top of foreign governments as long as it suits your interests, well the forums might not have to discuss me past one more expansion.

She had the misfortune of being the primary questgiver in ARR, thus becoming everyone's scapegoat as to why that particular chunk of the game sucked, and the fact the devs then joined in on it (despite it being THEIR FAULT) did not help whatsoever..........

The voice actor is terrible, the personality is worse, her face looks uncanny, fake, terrifying and completely out of place, everything about this character is the epitome of the wrong direction this game has been taking.

It's hard to believe I'm living in a time where I appreciate Stormblood and Zenos more than this effluvia.

Each character is more bad than the last. The quality continues to plummet with each update. Wuk Lamat is worst of all.

She did not make a particularly...strong first impression on me, unlike Gosetsu.

I'd like to think she might grow on me in 7.x proper, but she has a lot of character development to go through if they want to me believe she's actually leadership material.

I do like her and think she is great I love how she looks like a giant Mithra and she has a great personality. I on the other hand dislike Alisae and Fordola but I am sure there are others who love those characters.

Gosetsu gave me the opposite reaction, I hated his first appearance and only his voice was what kept me from groaning.
It took a while but I came to like him a lot.

Wuk Lamat? I like how she isn't all fearless etc so it will definitely play that part in Dawntrail.


As for my most hated characters were on debut? Ardbert and the warriors of darkness. I do not understand how awful were those post HW story patches, Nidhogg carried all that.

Not sure we played through the same MSQ. Her front of false bravado and her youthfull energy brought Something to the table we havent had since alphinaud got knocked down in arr.

A cocky character with room to grow. Except she is clearly not as full of herself as arr alphinaud.

Really curious to see how her story goes in DT.

Also she reminded me a bit of an excited puppy.
