Thread: Character Creation 2.0 - Expectations/Suggestion Discussion

-Idle animations would be pretty fun, that way the major cities dont look like their filled with emotionless zombies standing around so I'm all for that. Rubbing their eyes. Stretching. Looking around. Perhaps a little emote timing routine put in place :P its a start. Thats if most people care what their own character is doing while afk though, heh

-Someone mentioned a left handed feature I also thought would be really interesting.

-If it doesn't hurt and if it can easily be done, I would love to see a barbershop sometime in the future. You can also place limits on the time between changing appearances if its a problem. At least for hair and facial hair only. And possibly war paint?

-It might be difficult/time costly but I'd like to see more character stances when attacking or maybe even running so not everyone of the same race looks the same. Mainly because Id rather see a highlander hold an axe similar to a midlander or vice versa. And we all know those male elves run funny.

-More hair. Lots and lots of different styles. LOTS. and alterations of similar styles. Despite my character being bald ^^;

Hopefully the barbershop can get you a nice wig.

My biggest dream is for male miqote to have a hair style similar to Al-Cid from FFXII, that would be the bee's knees~~



That or male highlander, I just really like that guy's hair. ^^

Also, I wonder if there could be an option to share hairstyles from other races so that there could be even more options to choose from.

Personality traits would be cool but I would prefer to be able to change my personality on a whim. Perhaps toggle happy, excited, gloomy, sad... then your character walks as such. I think more than that may be asking for too much lol. And then have it turned off because sometimes I like to express myself the way I am through emotes.

I think those who want to be little cat people or hybrids need to wait and see what other races they offer. It wouldn't make sense lore wise for a Lalafel to have a tail, lore wise. However if there were hybrids of different classes, that could work.

I agree that we also need to stand out more. We need to be more individualized. I don't see too many like me but I see a lot of others like others. That was also the problem with XI. A MMO with these graphics shouldn't be limited to a set number of variations but should have many many possibilities of colors, textures, markings, accessories, from head to toes. Shoot why not add nail polish lolol. Anyway I hope to see more responses here too. Lets stimulate our creativity.
