Sena's roots do NOT make her Puerto Rican. Same as her German roots do not make her German. Same as my roots do not make me Mongolian. And those same roots do not magically impart correct accents to us. THAT is what the conversation was about. There is NOTHING toxic about these statements. There is no hate in them. You guys argued that her accent is correct because she has latino roots. That is not how DNA works. That is not how accents work.

Say what you will, but I'm pretty sure that the reason I can cook pasta perfectly without paying attention to the time or tasting it as it goes, it's totally because of the Italian part of my DNA.
