I had the misfortune of seeing the VA's twitter account today. The VA needs more than just training, they need both a reality check and serious therapy as it turns out they are a self important jerk who publicly thinks both white and straight women are beneath them and that white/cis women should quit their VA jobs. Please get the Voice Actor for Wuk Lamat training or improve on her performance in some discernible way. Or give us the option to switch out specific spoken characters.
As it stands, her direction in EN specifically comes off as an offensive caricature, does not match the character in other languages, and does not let us all enjoy the character in a similar way, negating the shared experience aspect that make MMOs great.
Before I thought them to be a terrible actor with no talent. Now I think even less of them as a person.
I'd provide links to the 13 separate offensive posts made by the VA at different times but I'm not sure if that's allowed on the forum.
Maybe SE doesn't seem to care if such a mean spirited person portrays one of their main characters?
There is a serious irony that the VA is playing a character who spouts nothing but peace and understanding, yet outside of it is the polar opposite.

And get ready, VA blacklisted people for criticismI had the misfortune of seeing the VA's twitter account today. I'd tolerate her more if she fucking stopped saying Papa lol.
Or he is stating facts that you are too ignorant to understand. For a obvious twitter user you dont seem to know ongoings or you are ignoring them. Even the actors have said they were only hired because they fit the area,or had a ideology pusher for the reason they got hired. Staying coping.
Maybe you should read, because I saw multiple arguments made by people why they dislike the VA. You just choose to ignore it.
My own main problem with Muk Lamat is simply that she does sound the same in most cutscenes, there is a lack of conveying feelings to the player,
which is not a good thing in a game that makes you play the story mainly through cut scenes. The VA simply lacks the skills.
Just compare Wuk Lamat to Emet Selchs VA. That guy had a wide range of emotions in his voice, which made you feel with him, no matter if you liked him or not.
Considering we got her forced on us for like 80% of the dialoque, it is incredible frustrating that the VA doesnt has the skills to play a leading role.
BTW calling people racist and bigoted over this, tells more about you than it tells about the people that say ''DEI Hire''
Maybe you should take a step out of your bubble before you insult others?
I can't find any of this, but I'm also not scrolling for 10 minutes.I had the misfortune of seeing the VA's twitter account today. There is a certain comedic factor in people throwing this term around as an insult, like it's not going to be perceived as the soylent, limp-wristed, reddit-tier retort it is. It actually reminds me of the kinds of things children spout when they're trying to insult someone. I don't know of a single person who has heard/read it, and thought "They got me." They just laugh. Anyway, I figured someone should tell you. You deserve an opportunity to learn so you don't continue to embarrass yourself.
