Huh? Of course I cleared Pandaemonium. P10 and P11 were both amazing fights with great voice delivery.

Forums complain if it don't rain enough in a zone. So yeah.
I thought G'raha felt bland myself. I'm not sure if VA or how it was animated but G'Raha felt like he was bored.
On the flip side, I thought VA for Wuk was great. I enjoyed all of it.
(Even if this game had jobs that only use one button. Min-max people would still Min-max the heck out of the one button)
In all likelihood, the real reason that the VA was probably picked is because she was willing to do it for cheap compared to other VAs. Fresh talent actors are willing to work for less just to make a name for themselves.

I had no idea there was even a question on this before seeing this thread and looking in to it. Had no idea its actually a biological male voicing her. Though its not as if it's the first time in anime/manga/video games/Japanese media that that's ever happened, so. /shrug
I like Wuk's character a lot, so far. She's got that obviously young and earnest, brave but definitely gonna have to learn some life lessons, thing going on. And her voice acting reflected that well. I think Wuk Lomat's voice acting was pretty good, at least for the first appearance. Even Emet-Selch, while always entertaining, sounds markedly different in his first patches vs the end of ShB. The VA has a fine start so far and will settle in as the expac goes on.
On another note, G'raha sounded fine to me, but I admit I'm a fangirl and likely a bit biased. lol But I didn't notice him, or Krile, sounding particularly tired when I played. Doesn't mean they weren't, but if they were it wasn't enough to pull me out of the game to notice.

I has no idea a stunning woman was voicing Wuk Lamat. That's crazy. Thanks so much to this thread for alerting me.
Also Krile, Thancred, and Uriangier all sounded lobotomized when speaking.
Her voice acting seemed pretty fine to me and the overwhelmingly majority seem pretty chill to the new character.
Though perhaps there seems to be a deeper, personal issue some of you might have with the person doing the voice. That's on you though. My group of friends loves her and think she is adorable.
Sorry she's not your dommy mommy you were hoping for, or whatever weird things people are into these days.
At the end of the day, it more than likely was the voice director/coach not guiding Sena (and others) on how to voice her lines for X scene and such (hence why other characters may have sounded unusual), or there wasn't enough time for some reason, or (unlikely) they voiced the lines for DT first and then these lines after and everyone had to remember how everyone should have sounded before DT (and for Wuk, how she would sound meeting the WoL for the very first time).
That last one is super unlikely, though.
Okay, I'm actually genuinely curious at this point and would like to just directly ask you:
What are your criticisms?
Yeah, yeah, I get it. You think it's bad, it sucks, it's downright terrible. Okay, why? Can you like, show me an example that stood out to you in the performance or something? Could you express what/where the issue therein actually is?
I mean, I know you've said stuff like... (and this is not verbatim):
- Ethnicity (But in your original thread, you had written preferring a British/London based VA for the part, so I really don't think this was ever a real criticism you had).
- You called her a Nepotism... hire? Which, I'm... going to be frank: that's a lie. Least you could do is admit you lied on that one, right?
- Everything else was kind of a mix of "I don't like accent" or "I don't like her opinions" and then a lotta fighting that you have a right to criticism or whatever. But your criticism is incredibly shallow and empty, and that's why people tend to fill in the blanks based off other people who post shallow and empty feedback (especially when it's incredibly spiteful, including the call for her firing).
But... not once have I really... been able to understand the issue you actually have? You never say it, or point to it, or explain it. All you've said (a lot) is "I don't like it" and sometimes in some of the rudest ways possible. So, if you want people to respect you, respect your opinion, respect your privilege to provide criticism -- could please provide a reasonable level of quality for those demands, then?
I'm not being disingenuous with this, either. I mean, I do have my own thoughts and assumptions - some nicer than others. But, I would like to be proven wrong.
But, the onus is on you to provide some kind of support for the claim you're making where you think someone should be fired, where you think the quality is so poor by comparison to the others, and that it's all the VA's fault - especially with the language you've embroiled your statements with.
If you don't want to, that's fine. But if you demand to be treated as if your critiques are of quality, then I would like to see some quality critique from you. Otherwise, you don't really have a leg to stand on when demanding people take you seriously.
Or, I mean, you can continue posting shallow, spiteful text and continue to pretend like this is a mature, adult way to behave, while getting upset when people don't take you seriously and ignore me altogether.
Your choice.

Can the company at least do us a solid and, like, put out more voice clips during the drought for us to judge? Since this is all they can afford to give us?
