Server error message

I keep getting the message "an error has occurred on the game server."
(30002)13011442205,21293922,5

Has anyone else been getting error? What is it exactly. I know I cant play until it gets fixed, its making it impossible to do anything because it happens randomly and frequently. It keeps happening to me since the reboot.... its getting very annoying. Its happening so often its becoming unplayable. Please help.

If i remember right error 30002 error is ISP problems try and open your ports "Note: you could have just google this"

I'm getting a similar message trying to get on my people on Saronia not an hour after I logged off the last one. The person I have on Besaid works fine, though. It'd be nice to figure this out.

Just had the same issue a few minutes ago. This problem seemed to go away for quite some time. In fact this is the first time its happened in months. I'm also on Saronia server.

hey there something wrong me and some friends even dc at the same time and se same reply always since last month we let you know about the same problem whats going on? Before we couldnt sp cause it was all screwed up now cant sp cause i dc every gd minute! rage!

Hey Concerning the 30002 error code i still keep getting dc but not only that everytime it happens it resets my router and disconnects all the computers in my house i gotta reboot router most of the time this happens. How is ffxiv able to cause my router to crash does it have anything to do with the game causing my virtual memory to overload and crash idk i have 6gb and run xfire 5870 im sure my pc aint the prob and others have this same problem. You guys should run a poll see if people dc aswell im sure some dont even bother to post it up on here i know i waited over 3 weeks to do so cuz i thought it was my internet.

I actually just started getting this as well. I got the game about a little after it came out and I've never had this problem. Hell, I'd craft for hours on end every day and not get the error. I took a break for about a month, though, and just came back yesterday. Started a new character 'cause I decided I needed a change, but went to the same server as my old one (Besaid). Now about every twenty to thirty minutes I get booted off because of this server problem. Nothing has changed with my internet or computer settings. Only thing that changed with FFXIV is the update patches that I got. Kind of drives me nuts. I ended up just quitting after awhile. I was really looking forward to getting back into FFXIV, too, 'cause all I'd really done in the previous months is craft. Really wanted to try out combat, but there's no way I can put up with being disconnected so frequently.

Have *you* tried googling this problem? I have. Only results I get are people complaining about it from Beta and others with the same problem that have thus far received no solution for it. So, really, lay off the guy for thinking that the 'official' forums would probably have more information for it. I know this is the first place I looked after Google failed me miserably.

Of course, if what you meant to say was "You could have used the search function" then I agree with you. I spent a few minutes running through old threads with this problem and found one on ZAM which could help.

Anyway, I'm going to try messing around with it more after I get off work, but things don't really look promising.

yea this had never happen to me before even after the server restart the connection was still ok. I dont wana blame the recent patch's because it could just be the server but yea this just recently started to happen after server got reboot from shutdown and they threw a patch in.

Hmmm....as an update to my prior post, FFXIV seems to be working fine with me again. I didn't actually do anything, though. Wonder if it's an intermittent thing, or if something changed on their end, or, hell, if just restarting my computer helped. I dunno.

Anyway, from what I hear, Bam, these server problems tend to start happening immediately after a patch. I'm kind of worried, though, since some people claim that their problems are pretty sporadic. Guess I won't know for sure unless it starts happening again.
