They're velvet this time, though. While the forms and colors aren't new, the material will please...some subset of the player base.

Oh my bad. Honestly..even if it's for AST it's the same criticism. That looks like a pajama set. It has night lights on it and everything. Throw it in the trash and please do not make BLM anything like it. Give both classes gear that looks like Dawntrail pleaseeeee.

Like how on Earth do you have an expansion based on South America / Latin countries and think of adding a velvet star robe to any class???

Also I was looking at it on mobile and honestly. I'm so used to getting screwed over with BLM gear I just assumed. The EW gear was also terrible. I find it kind of hilarious I didn't even notice the book.

We literally have one of those across four expansions. The other three AST sets have all been Ala Mhigan/Thavnairian vibe with sleeveless robes and turbans.

But i think, that whe will probally have a longer robe again.
That is my biggest critic with the caster outfits.
That most of them are long robes (what is the classic look of caster), or at last half long. And dont allow leg freedom. Or, that at last the backside reach the ground.

I like the yafem top, in combination with a skirt or pants, because its looks like a mage. And, gives movement freedom. And hope, that whe will something in that direction.
