[Feedback] Wuk Lamat's English Voice

Wuk lamat is too whiny. I didn't mind her voice before but now that she has more scenes and she's also been written to be annoying in every scene with 2543 cases of seasickness I can't be bothered with this character anymore. I'd rather help out Erenville and Krile. I'm only at 92 so I don't know how long she is the main focus but hopefully not much longer.

I'm only at the Feat of Pots, so maybe things will change as I get further in the story but I think Wuk Lamat's English VA is fine.
How they wrote the character is another story. I'm not saying the bones aren't bad (sheltered, impulsive princess vying for the throne) but how they wrote her makes her feel too immature and kind of inept. Hopefully, she'll grow as a character...maybe...please. (◑ ○◑)

I think for generic dialogue the voice actor is "fine".

I feel though she lacks range. There are many scenes that there should have been more emotion or emphasis, and I wonder if she is just unable to keep in character for anything but very basic tones.

(Just adding that of course I completely agree about the writing).

I found her overall fine -- not great, but not notably bad... except

during the intermission for the final trial. Holy crap that was bad. Like, guys, get another take. Was she under the impression those lines were delivered with her standing in an empty room, or sitting at a cafe? She's fighting an apocalyptic dimension-tearing robot, maybe... shout or sound winded or talk quicker? It totally killed the vibe during the finale.

She is far from the worst in the game. Honestly, I'd say the worst I've heard in recent memory was that cheesy sailor we encountered on the way to Tuliyollal. I did not expect that voice to come out of that man.

Yeah, I ended up switching to JP voices. I couldn't stand the voice cracking and forced accent any more. JP she's still a terrible character, but at least she's tolerable to listen to.

halfway into the expac and damn all of the new cast is pretty bad. sounds like they're reading off a script with very little nuance. wuk lamat just stands out the most since she's written out to be this super emotive shonen protagonist

I personally hold the character they chose to be the center of attention this entire expansion, who has the most dialogue out of everyone, to higher standards than an NPC who says like 2 lines.
