I was wondering what this whole thing was about, because I could not for the life of me remember any character named Wuk Lomat. They had to have been that forgettable.

But then i happened to be walking around in Sharlean and saw the character there... and I was like.. OMG that character was as annoying a Jar Jar Binks. You know, the one they had to cut out portions of it because people found it that annoying.

I think I agree with the fact they need a new voice actor for that one. This current VA is just bad to the point of annoying.

No conspiracies here. Sweet Baby Inc. is a DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) consultancy group. Their CEO also gives speeches at the GDC (Game Developers Conference) to teach other developers and consultancy groups to use Scare/Intimidation tactics to get their changes implemented. How exactly is still debated, though there are people from the industry stepping forward as whistleblowers currently.

Now I recognize this is just one such group. But this group in particular, Does have Square Enix under their clientele.
So this is possibly relevant.

Especially when your "sensitivity reader" and "game writer" for "diversity, equity, and inclusion" apparently loves talking racist shit on twitter, and how they want to abort an entire race off our planet. (Spoiler alert, it's not POC.)

So we have the fact that Square Enix are clients of Sweet Baby Inc. People clearly are noticing something's off about this character, or you wouldn't hear people chiming in here. Upto page 63 no less. You're free to have your own opinions, and I didn't state anything definitive. But this does look like a red flag to me if you tally in Sena Bryer's activism history on Twitter.

Where, if you read what she says. By her very own logic, she should step down.

"Apathy until the last minute" sounds very accurate. And this isn't their first time, how long can they keep slouching on like this? They've clearly got the talent. Downsize, get a different CEO. And focus on quality. And give Yoko more money to do stuff.

Small update here, since Square Enix made a deal with Microsoft.

Since the market has found out about the "DEI" (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) scam, where it's more like forced inclusivity. It seems after their meetup at the GDC (Games Developer Convention), they're trying to change the language to not get caught, again.

So we have new examples like DEIB, the B standing for Belonging. And Microsoft creating a new 'framework' on how to keep inserting "DEI" practises.

Clearly they didn't like a lot of the consumers realizing it was 'forced' representation. So after the GDC, they added new term they now chose to describe their inclusion with 'intentionality.'

These changes are intentional alright, but far from organic. Whilst they claim they do not mandate these guidelines. But instead, they'll make sweeping changes at the studio they partner with.

• Hiring of a DEI director
• Hiring of consulting firm to gender balance and review hiring/promotion policies.
• Hiring of Sweet Baby Inc. to work on the published games.

This last bit seems to sort out, as Sweet Baby Inc. has Square Enix in their client list. And this voice actor was likely the result of a 'gender balance.'

The Voice Actor did fine, and if you got an ear for your own language you can hear it improves, Wuk Lamath is a foreign Cat that speaks another native language, so have to adapt, like humans, you will get better if you live in a country with the language you are trying to learn, but you will still be stuck on some of the bugs forever, including accents.

You can go from New York to Alabama and listen to the differences....

No one Rips on Arnold Schwarzennegger for an instance, and he has done quite well being stuck on his accent and weird english?

Are you kidding me? Everyone rips on Schwarznegger's accent! Even you just called it weird English.
The difference is however, it's his own accent, so he's not faking it. And he rolls with it. It's part of his characters
