This is a fanbase that thinks Alisaie's voice is too low. Anything but the absolute squeakiest of moeblob anime voices sounds like a "man" to these people.

So, seeing that you did this, I went to verify.

I counted negative posts towards the voice first, up til page 12. Negative opinions given likes totaled 501.

I went back and counted positive posts towards the voice up to page 12. Positive opinions given likes totaled 342.

I only ignored posts, either negative or positive, if they didn't mentioned the voice acting of Wuk Lamat in EN at all. This left out only posts talking about other things like politics, other voices in other languages, or other characters' voice acting.

You must have an awful lot of people blocked or something. Or perhaps you made some addition errors.

Ergo.. English speaking people is judgemental, or is it one group of English people that is against it or do not even got an ear for their own language? as it improves as it heads on....

Wuk Lamat is first of all a foreign Cat... and she is adapting to Eorzean or trying to, unlike everyone else she is not a Scholar or Ishgaardian, but more a wild tribe cat.. she is great.

She does have a pronounced male undertone, nobody said anything about women being incapable of doing lower tones. Women can do a wide range of tones but doing a tone is different from an undertone, which is developmental in this case.

Its certainly not a ''anything but the absolute squeakiest of moeblob anime voices'' issue like one bad faith(+4) moron would like to believe.

A couple of posters actually were complaining that her voice was too low to be believable in one of the threads that got gutted by the mods when the patch came out because some of the comments were blatantly discriminatory.

Personally the idea the voice wasn't believable confused me. The character never sounded like anything other to a woman to me.

This continues to be much ado about nothing on all sides if I'm to be honest. It's a new character with a voice actor new to us. It's going to be a bit rough at first. Let it rest then return to the subject after we've had a chance to play through 7.0 if needed.

A combination of errors, mistakes, and what seemed to possibly be some intentional statements were made contrary to *all* of those points, not just on the forums but in this very thread already. I was asserting the correct information in one spot, instead of trying to guess at people's intentions when they *might* have simply been unaware.

Holy HELL, who cares? She had a stupid take on Bridget's VA? AMAZING. One time the VA for Pyra/Mythra from Xenoblade said that the main character didn't "have enough rizz to pull down" the three characters he canonically married, loved, and had children with. She also caught hell online from whining fans online about something totally inconsequential. The VA behind Dante from DMC is crazily anti-vax and a little derpy and probably believes in the healing power of crystals he finds on the side of the road.

. . . and who CARES!? You're wasting so much of your life on this junk and noise. This is less substantial than the Subs/Dubs argument, and anyone who is willing to die on any hill in that argument is certifiably as emotionally developed as a termite mound. Just pick what you prefer, and go with that.
