Unless you mean the fact that she is not as boisterous or unafraid as she likes to make out, in which case thats not a weakness. You can still be a ‘warrior woman’ with flaws, thats just good writing.

If it was intentional, those moments of weakness would only shine through in the moments where she is actually weak.
But she always sounds like that in the english version (opposed to all the other versions I've seen). Shaky, inconsistent, nervous and low energy.
That's not writing, that is bad voice direction and / or acting.

Some line delivery wasn’t as good, but I think that is more of a direction issue which sometimes has happened Post COVID with the English dubbing. You have to let her get a little used to the character.

Well I for one cannot hear that at all in her general performance, she came across as inquisitive and optimistic enough for me, but each to their own! Hopefully you enjoy her performance in DT more.

After listening to English VS Japanese

JP curb stomps hard, emotion, expressions in sentences, overall can connect with the character

English: Good Lord this is ARR voice acting level, no emotion, no expressions and the accent doesn't fit at all. You can't seriously connect to characters if voice acting is a major down play for English speakers.

Seriously this is nothing to do who Sena Bryer identifies, or w/e. The issue is this is cheap voice acting, it's bad and people need to stop brigading it just because their transgender so they feel like they're a hero in society granting support no matter how bad, when it is far more evil controlling way people think and speak because you disagree.

The voice acting sucks, Sena really needs coaching, or serious improvements in the future. SE seriously cannot be returning to hiring terrible VAs saving budget.

JP is SHB/EW++ level.

Really wish the game let you choose the language per character. Some fighting games do that these days and its pretty enjoyable. Some characters I really like in English and some in Japanese.

I'm sure she was coached over the course of the expansion. I mean were you crying this hard from her line in the trailer? No you were not and neither was anyone else. That's because the trailer is likely the most recently recorded thing and she sounds fine in it.

Maybe people will empathize more with your position once the expansion is actually out and we have more than 10 minutes of dialogue.

Just the fact she may not be an experience VA is enough reason to criticize both her and SE. What is she doing there if she isn't trained?

You're saying things like "seemingly", "I'm sure" or "likely", which don't really give me confidence that you know what you're talking about.

The reason why people didn't complain about the trailer is because it contained very little to go off of.
They were waiting for 6.55 to make their judgement.

Mate, I saw this thread and cringed reading feedback and taken a look myself viewing cutscenes on Youtube, it really is bad. You don't hire an unknown lacking experience vs other colleagues with major experience. G'raha Tia is acted by Jonathan Bailey, guy has been acting since 1995 as a child, doing TV shows etc. Robyn Addison has stared in popular UK TV shows (Voices Y'shtola), large amount of experiences. Get it now?

Hiring someone cheap to voice act, you're expecting a lot of negativity, disgust with the performance. If this the best Sena can do, then she really needs to pick up the act, or expect people switching dubs.
