[Feedback] Wuk Lamat's English Voice

I tried, I genuinely tried to like Wuk Lamat's English VA, but I just can't take it anymore and I finally switched to the Japanese VAs. I love everything about Dawntrail so far, the story, zones, and all of the characters and VAs are fine minus a few odd minor NPC voices here and there but FFXIV has always been like that. I don't even mind Wuk Lamat's character, either. I am a lesbian and my girlfriend is a trans woman, I was excited for a trans woman VA in FFXIV honestly. But the delivery is just so bad sometimes, it just doesn't feel like natural or genuine conversation a lot of the time, and the VA putting on an accent really doesn't help.

I looked up the VA and she doesn't normally have an accent and her VA experience isn't really a lot, especially to be hired for such a major expansion role IMO. But she's a fan of the game, so of course she's going to say yes to Squeenix hiring her and telling her to do an accent. I think that's more on Squeenix than anything though, they should have hired someone with more experience for such a large role IMO, and if they wanted the VA to do an accent, they should have hired a dialect coach, but I know they didn't because no one can pinpoint what accent the VA is trying to do. It really stands out whenever the VA drops her accent all the time, especially to pronounce things with an American/English accent, this is a really common problem for actors doing accents and it's why you hire a dialect coach to make sure the actors know how to pronounce things in a specific dialect and such.

I really enjoy all of the English VAs, too, and I actually liked the American accents we got in the Western area, no problem with that. I really wish I could just change Wuk Lamat to be Japanese VA instead, she is the only voice that bothers me so far, especially because she's in literally every cut scene. Whenever she's like "WoL, come with me" it fills me with dread, here's hoping switching to the Japanese VA helps.

Edit: First cut scene after switching to the Japanese VAs and it's night and day. I wasn't a huge fan of Wuk Lamat before but now I actually like her character way more with the Japanese VA. The only sad part is I miss all the English VAs now . The Japanese VAs for the Scions are good, too, but I really like the English VAs more IMO.
