Pictomancer abilitiy sounds gross me out.

So after watching the reveal The abilities are a bit 'gloopy sounding' For lack of a better term. While not bad at first to does kinda make me feel a bit grossed out by it after a while. Would much prefer it to sound more like a brush on canvas or even just more watery sounds. Love the aesthetic and wish it wasn't quite so cartoony, but all and all I look forward to this new class but if the sounds are finalized I might have to avoid this one.

I like the sounds. Gives the class a unique feel not found anywhere else. It would be a shame if it was turned into something generic.

I can understand how that kind of sound can make someone uncomfortable.
To be honest I would be expecting more brush and pencil sounds, something like scratchings on canvas etc rather than the moist shloppings of blobs of paint and ink.

I'm not fond of that sound too lol. They did change Gunbreaker sounds (for the worse lol) so I suppose changing this is not out of the box.

But what really bothers me are the static paint splatter/droplets effects, it looks like gpose stickers.

Other than those, I love the job.

I don't have this same reaction to their sounds, but do get really bad headaches from the iajutsu wind up high pitched scream from samurais, so I've been there too with job sounds being a problem.

I agree with you, particularly now I've seen (and heard) more of it in game. It's just unpleasant. Overall I like the concept of Pictomancer a lot, but the way they've chosen to do the effects - both audio and visual - is very cartoony and it's not my thing... but it doesn't seem to fit very well with the rest of the jobs, either. I know there's plenty of cutesy stuff in the game and it's popular with many people but I wish that they'd gone with a more classical/elegant vibe for an artist class rather than gloopy splodging of fluorescent paint everywhere.
