    We don't have any examples of what a "queen surname" is, even from the one historical queen named in Bozja. She was given a Lost surname which doesn't add up clearly at all.

    Maybe because she's a queen, she doesn't have a queen, or rather she "lost" her predecessor.

    That would mean that as a Helion, you could go either way and indicate that either you serve another Queen (A-) or that you are one yourself and lost your predecessor (-sch). For the latter, it wouldn't make a difference whether you're unaffiliated, Queen to yourself, or have an empire back home.
