No one is claiming the whole class will be bad, I'm not sure how you're getting that from these responses. The prior post has said initial, meaning from what they see right now. Logically, with that limited knowledge, what they're saying doesn't make their point any less valid because it is solely an initial impression based on a video. You're the only one who's mentioned anything of the skills, flow, rotation, etc. when most are only concerned about the paint aesthetic or that it looks lackluster. Not that it "feels" so, because obviously, no one has played it yet.

If thats true then why are people being judgemental andys about the class when its still not released? Why go so out of their way to express such strong opinions both good and bad?

The only thing valid is just the concern of the paint aesthetic, everything else is moot.

Ever heard of judging a book by its cover? People could end up being correct, or they could end up being incorrect when it comes to how the class plays. It's all opinion. And even then, people can fairly judge from what we see.

Nothing factual can be said about the class outside of its aesthetic(Which mostly falls to opinion anyway). To argue against others who would push further than that, is a waste of time. You may as well be swinging at air.

Its FFXIV, all jobs are is aesthetic. There are like 3 unique jobs in terms of gameplay and the rest are copy pastes with minor adjustments and 1 or 2 unique buttons out of 30. Most people play jobs based on the aesthetic first, and then later decide if they like the gameplay. If someone doesn't like the 7 year old girl's backpack stickers aesthetic for a job, they aren't going to care how it plays, they don't care about the rotation, they don't care what kind of support it gives, they don't want to play a job designed to look like kindergarten glitter glue.
