To be honest, I get turned off by a lot of things, but seeing all the crazy weapons you can get in this game, I'm sorry but its just you and the minority that somehow find it off putting if the brush somehow THAT was your threshold.personally i don't mind the colors or the sounds or the effects, it's just the sheer size of the weapon and the way they try to treat it like it's a little wand sized paintbrush in all the animations.
it's like... just maddening to me i hate it so much. Fully aware it's irrational too but it's such a strong negative response every time i see it.
Kind of funny the people that play FFXIV at the lgs i go to for board games and magic and whatnot actually feel the exact same way about it which is somewhat relieving that it's not just some strange personal tick
Its not that weird.

My point is they need to fix both the VFX and SFX before DT releases in response to criticism.
But, you need to work on your sentence framing and punctuation. This can read multiple ways. I took it to mean you were counter to the point of the possibility of the team making changes to the art assets.

Only class I care about is Beastmaster that's coming out. Maybe if Pictomancer wasn't so cartoonish it wouldn't have all the hate. To me it looks dumb the class and looks like belongs to little kid's game. Relm so didn't look cartoonish in FFVI.

To be fair, she was also only a 16x24 pixel sprite.
I doubt many people will believe me when I say this isn't bait, but I think their choice of aesthetic for Pictomancer will be good for the game in the long run. After having seen it, the style looks less like something that's out of place, as more like a thing the game was missing and will be better for having. It's a style that will appeal to a lot of people, and let's not forget, the cutesy aesthetic is in no way even remotely new to XIV. The only place this sort of theme was missing was in combat itself, in the players hands. It's good that it finally is.
I don't care if something is cute, but I do care if the aesthetic fits the game. The skills I saw in the gameplay video do not fit the game imo. Viper, as generic as it is fits the game, Pictomancer does not.

need is a strong word lol. i personally dont see this needMy point is they need to fix both the VFX and SFX before DT releases in response to criticism.

also the grammar was correct "as if theyve never done that before" is a question. im asking you a question. im not telling you they havent. im asking you
To be fair, I also read that as if you're being sarcastic when asking.
You can be grammatically correct but still not be clear in what you're saying.

My only issue (more of a worry) with the job is it seems like another DNC or NIN type job, where it's up to you to remember all the combos. Not for me.
