Please god the cube feet need so much repair. There's even mods out there to fix these issues!
I've been ranting about skin tone for years! (and how dull their complexions have been & now even more so in the update.) Thank you.
In the update preview: The midlander has extremely pallid skin. He has 0 lip tone & no flush to his nose or cheeks or even ears - he's smooth looking similar to having oily looking skin & leans into appearing like an unpainted wax model.
- It was a bit disheartening when I saw the Elezen & Viera because they seem to suffer from the same unpainted look, & they just look waxy. They're just so bland in skin tone, they all need a bit of flush & minor & major skin tone changes around the cheeks, nose, ears, chins & under eye area to improve that. Skin painting or mapping I think it's called.
When I mentioned it to some of my FC mates they don't seem to understand what I mean when I say the skin tones (all of them) have extremely dull complexions. When you look at the character painting models in FFXII for example, they're still top notch. Something even remotely in that direction would be a vast improvement.
& when creating a character having the option of multiple customisation options at once- being able to have multiple beauty marks or moles, lipstick, blush & eye shadow }+ eyeliner (they need an eyeliner/waterline option ^-^with freckles or a sticker, rather than just being allowed to pick one of those. Why do they give all of these options but you can only choose one, which makes it feel infinitely more limited.

This is literally what I'm truly saying. Completely agree with you. It's like looking at freshly moisturized, unpainted faces lol. I know we are basing these based on a few screenshots but I hope that the dev team sees this thread and others like it and work on improving the character customization more before release. Also, we really do need eyelashes. And better makeup options as well. I've seen that mobile game Love Nikki do better. Lol.I've been ranting about skin tone for years!
