The bottom line is the skill feels off and needs a change, whether minor/major I don't know, but it does need an adjustment. It use to feel good as a DPS tool, but with SE constantly screwing around with Energy Drain, that is no longer the case.

Lots of jobs have that one skill that just feels off compared to everything else. Doesn't mean it's a bad skill, it just needs some tuning.



Union and Seraph don't actually lock you out of anything though. Union use to, but that was changed. But that ghosting and delay is frustrating. Sometimes it feels like Seraph is only a 15 second summon at times.
I’m not saying you don’t know how to use the skill, I’m saying that your reasoning for why it should be changed is flawed in that your only reasoning is basically a vague feeling that it doesn’t feel right; I could just as easily say that dissipation is the only skill that does feel right, our opinions hold equal weight on that front.

And while union doesn’t block you from anything it has to be stopped and restarted every time you use something else and it’s still rather common to ghost the other skill when you use said skill to cancel the tether
